Most of the day happens within a few blocks of the park. Bring a lawn chair — seating is limited.

Before the Festival

Contests run in the days leading up to Fall Fest. Winners are announced on stage during the festival.

  1. The Great Medallion Hunt

    $100 prize · within Conway Springs city limits How it worksHide details

    Rules and a first, deliberately vague clue go up Sunday, September 20 at noon. Every clue after that posts promptly at 6:00 a.m.

    • Clues appear on the Fall Fest and Red Power Nutrition Facebook pages — and in Red Power Nutrition's front window, if you'd rather not chase them online.
    • The medallion is hidden somewhere inside Conway Springs city limits.
    • Found it? Bring it to Red Power Nutrition or to April Zoglmann to claim $100 and a photo for bragging rights.

  2. Photography Contest

    Entries to City Hall by 5 p.m. Thursday, Sept 24 Contest rulesHide rules

    Open to all ages, free to enter. Up to three photographs per person, each an original work of the photographer. Photos should reflect fall, community, or the festival theme, and must be appropriate for family audiences.

    How to submit

    • Printed format — 8×10 recommended.
    • No watermarks, logos, borders or identifying marks on the photo.
    • No AI-generated images, stock photography or digital composites.
    • Include the photographer's name, contact information, the title, and age category as of September 1 (12 and under, 13–18, or over 18).

    Awards

    First, second and third place in each of three categories — Youth, Teen and Adult. A People's Choice award is decided by public vote during the festival.

    By entering, photographers give the Fall Festival Committee permission to display their photos during the festival and use them in promotional materials, with credit.

  3. Porch Decorating Contest

    New this year: your porch doesn't have to match the festival theme — it just has to be fall.

    • Free to enter. You must be within the Conway Springs School District.
    • Email a photo of your finished porch to csfallfest@gmail.com by 5:00 p.m. Thursday, September 24.

    Judged on originality, creativity and overall fall theme. Prizes for the top three plus a People's Choice award.

  4. Business Decorating Contest

    7th annual · judging begins Friday at 3:30 p.m. Contest rulesHide rules

    All businesses are invited, on and off Main Street. Decorate your windows, the space in front of your business, or both.

    Judged on: creativity, originality, attention to detail and theme execution. Winners announced on stage during the festival.

    Two-mile fun run and walk, open to all ages. Registration 7:30–7:55 a.m., race at 8:00.

    Setup is 7:00–9:30 a.m., and crafters need to be ready for shoppers by 9:30.

    Booths are $30, food vendors $50, plus $15 for electricity. Locations assigned on a first-paid basis.

  7. Parade Line-Up

  8. Fall Festival Parade
