Most of the day happens within a few blocks of the park. Bring a lawn chair — seating is limited.

Before the Festival

Contests run in the days leading up to Fall Fest. Winners are announced on stage Saturday.

  1. The Great Medallion Hunt

    The first clue posted Sunday, September 20 at noon. A new clue posts every morning at 6:00 a.m. until the medallion is found — here, on the Fall Fest and Red Power Nutrition Facebook pages, and in Red Power Nutrition's front window.

    Once you find it, take it to Red Power Nutrition to claim your $100.

      After thy quest, seek a hearty repast. A hot meal to savor, with a cool drink at last. There, feast and drink, and let thy toil be past.

  2. Photography Contest

    Entries to City Hall by 5 p.m. Thursday, Sept 24 Contest rulesHide rules

    Up to three photos per person. Photos should reflect autumn, fall, or the Fall Festival theme, and be appropriate for family audiences.

    Age groups: 12 and under, 13–18, and over 18. First, second and third place in each, plus a grand People's Choice award.

    All entries are displayed at the Family Life Center during Fall Festival on Saturday. Winners announced on stage.

  3. Porch Decorating Contest

  4. Business Decorating Contest

    All businesses on and off Main Street are invited. Decorate your windows, the space in front of your business, or both.

    Judged on: originality, creativity and use of theme. Prizes to the top three, announced on stage.

    Second annual, and easier this year — no need to bring your own turtle.

    Tickets go on sale at the concession stand at noon. $1 each, or $5 for six.

    Fill out your tickets and we'll place them on the circle. The race ends when the first turtle reaches the outer circle — if your ticket is there, you win. Four races, $25 cash each. No need to be present to win.
